Making my mark ...

Hello,

First, lemme apologize about me not posting anything for the past few weeks. Was super busy doing group work, counting cars (yup u heard it) and writing research papers. Now, I'm free until tomorrow so I decided to write my post today. Again, I'm sorry.

This week, I'm writing about making a mark. I'm not here to tell you to look into yourself and you will find the ability to fly or shit like that. I wanna talk about it from my own view and perspective.

I write for my school press club and I love it. I go around asking pple questions about events that happen in school. This week, I'm writing about my friend, Nkari, who had fashion show this weekend. She showed her first collection which had wonderful designs.

Last week, I wrote about another friend of mine, Jane, who is the owner of her very own modelling agency. She so far has signed about ten models and has had numerous photo shoots around.

Vivianne, my very mad and awesome friend is a model. She is tall, beautiful and confident. She was one of the models of Nkari's show and believe me, she worked the stage as a pro even though that was her first time.

Why are I am telling you all this? These people, my friends, are making their mark already and they aren't even out of school yet! A modelling scout, a fashion designer and a model. All things that adults are usually known for. And these girls aren't even 21 yet!

I want to make my own mark. I want to be someone important that people will be talking about years and years after I'm dead and gone. I dont have the gracefulness of a model or the creative eye of a designer, but I do have a wild imagination and a passion for writing.

In the end, I pray to God that all my dreams will come true. I see myself writing for a big magazine in New York or working as an executive in a big advertising company. As I am writing this post, I imagine myself writing for Vogue or Cosmo. Whatever happens tho, I just want to be happy.

So that's my bit for the week. Hope you all had a great weekend and I wish you a great week ahead.

Until next time,
